Alex Chilton of Big Star

Alex Chilton a famous singer and guitarist of the 70’s band Big Star, died at the age 59 in New Orleans.

Before that Alex Chilton was bothered of his health and later he was brought to hospital and pronounced dead. His friend Jody Stephens the drummer of Big Star confirmed that he died because of heart attack.

Few days remaining his band Big Star is scheduled to perform at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. We have no further news about the concert but probably the show must go on.
